Creating Paws-itive Space
Join Us in Creating a Calmer, Healthier, More Compassionate Shelter for All
Currently our facilities are bursting at the seams. Limited space and an inefficient layout hinder our ability to ensure the serenity, quality of care, and positive human interaction animals need. Major constraints include 14 tiny dog kennels, insufficient space to isolate cat families, no space for veterinary care, and insufficient staff space.
Upgrades will include:
Dogs relocated into 16 larger (8’ x 8’) kennels, each with hide-away doghouse, soundproofing, glass door for human contact and light, and 8’ x 8’ outdoor runs available on demand.
For cats, especially fearful or aggressive cats or mothers with kittens, create spacious 5’ x 5’ kennels in a large 12’ x 30’ area (former dog kennels) to allow cats to socialize safely.
Fully equipped Wellness Room to facilitate in-house veterinary services, resulting in more timely and less costly healthcare
Other upgrades: dedicated staff office space, an expanded lobby, new hygienic flooring, commercial laundry, new fencing for dog play yards, expanded storage, and improved parking.
