We care for 600 – 700 animals each year! When you give to the Northwoods Humane Society, every dollar goes directly to support of our animals. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization. We rely on support of generous individuals and receive no funding from the County or State governments.
We average 70 cats and 25 dogs in our care at all times. Each animal is vet checked, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped and any medical needs addressed before going home with their new family.
Special Needs Programs
- Cat Spay/Neuter program ($140 – $280 per cat)
- Dog Spay/Neuter program ($240 – $520 per dog)
- Angie’s fund for senior/special needs dog care
- Binky Boo fund for senior/special needs cats
- Community outreach pays for spay/neuter and emergency pet medical help for low-income families
